Are you getting married in Kansas City? This is a popular city for brides and grooms to get married. Kansas City is actually the third largest city in the state of Kansas – so there is a lot to see, do and experience there. Kansas City has a wonderful nickname that gives you a wonderful feeling about this city: Heart of America. Brides and grooms have been falling in love with this city for years. Whether you are a nearby resident of Kansas City or another town – or if you are from farther away, it is easy to see why Kansas City would be an easy choice for your wedding. You’ll be thrilled to have your wedding in Kansas City.

The climate in Kansas City is something for every bride and groom to consider when planning their wedding. Most brides and grooms like the option of having part of their wedding reception, ceremony or photographs outdoors. There are times of the year where in Kansas City this would be a bit challenging. The weather will simply be working against you. So it is best to know that the weather will be more extreme and to plan ahead. The summers can be very hot, but they are not very humid. August tends to be the warmest – so you might want to plan a July wedding. Kansas City is located in Tornado Alley. Tornadoes have been known to come by during March through June. This season is probably not the best to plan your wedding. This is a disappointment, as many brides would love a late spring or early summer wedding – but you must work with the weather not against it. Winter temperatures can be very cold. If you plan a winter wedding it must be entirely indoors. But don’t worry – your wedding will be tremendous and lovely and beautiful!

Kansas City is a lovely and friendly city with old fashioned values. You’ll be pleased with how well people are treated in this city. Even though this city is large, it still has a bit of a smaller town feel when it comes to the way people are greeted and respected. People are very friendly and kind.
